Rainham is proud to be investing in a project to inspire the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians, whose knowledge, training and experience will be needed to rebuild Britain's ageing infrastructure.

The Bloodhound Project, to build the first supersonic 1000 mph car, was launched in 2007 with the aim of recruiting more young people into engineering careers - and the Rainham logo was the first to feature on the side stripe of the Bloodhound SSC car.

Director of the Bloodhound Project, Richard Noble said: "Rainham understand the thinking behind The Bloodhound Project perfectly. It's not just about going very fast. We're looking to inspire the next generation, who will be charged with dealing with the world's global challenges, to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics." But sponsoring others to spark young minds is just part of the story - visit our Latest News page to find out how Rainham has been taking an active role in inspiring the next generation.
